| Storage Information | Locusts should be transferred to a well-ventilated container of appropriate size, the ideal temperature to store them is t 25 °C. They should have access to high quality dry insect food such as Pro Grub, and a small amount of fresh cabbage leaves such as spring greens or kale. This should be replaced daily. Offer a source of hydration such as Jelly pot or solid water gel. Before feeding to your pet please gut load, or dust with appropriate vitamin supplements. Perching site must be provided in the form of egg packing trays to reduce stress and cannibalism. Prepacked locusts can be stored in a warm, dark place for several days if extra progrub is added to the tubs. The ideal temperature is 22-22°C. |
