PS5 compatible is why I got it, easy to install into the system & now I'm able to havr as many games locally as I want. Yes, the playstation plus account is necessary for most multi-player games now & does come with cloud storage but u still have to have local files & save files i like to have locally too. Has been running & saving great since install. No issues, I'd highly recommend this to anyone with a PS5

It arrived in a small package, pulled it right out of the box and comes with the Nvme SSD with the Heatsink already installed. It felt little heavy so there is weight to it therefore the build quality felt premium.Installation was very easy to do, I plugged it into my PS5 and fits perfectly. I booted my PS5 and right off the bat it detected the SSD and did a format. I was able to redownload my PS5 games on to the drive. It functions great, the download speed of it was very fast. Tested out some games on it, there was no overheating, it works as expected. TimeTec feels like a reliable company and reaching out to them about the warranty and registration of the device was straight forward. I definitely recommend them on their devices.

I bought this as a game drive for a secondary PC, and so far it's done the job fine. Nowadays there are better drives for similar prices, the value isn't as good as when I bought it. So I decided to dock a star. It's still a good drive, but you can find better nowadays. For example I was able to get a CUSU 1TB 2230 that can do 3650MB/s read and 3200MB/s write, the theoretical maximum of PCIe Gen 3x4 NVMe, and it cost exactly the same as this drive does currently. ($47.99) Warranty is supposedly the same 5 years too.

Seems very fast . Nice easy install quick set up this is my second ssd drive. Great for all my games.Very fast loading.Great size drive hopefully never run out of space on this PC build.

well this is a very functional drive, does over 3500 mbps internal and is not hot. Does >1000mbps in a 3.2 gen 2 external exclosure. I have it both ways

Huge bang for your buck, I bought the 2TB version gen 4 and it’s super fast for less than $120. It includes a white heat sink that goes perfect with the look of my all white setup. I think this is the best deal for a gen 4 m.2 ssd sold on amazon.
