We bought this for our 6 month old Granddaughter. Not for her to operate but for her to follow and watch. She is just starting to crawl. This unit with it's sounds and movement is perfect for her. Even thought it's inexpensive the controls are good. Have run it on Tile to Carpet runners with no issue. The little figure is an extra bonus. Since we only got it this week will have to see how long it lasts but so far we are very pleased with this product. First time my wife operated a remote control car even she is impressed with how easy it is.

Very good remote controlled train for the money. We couldn't really ask for much more on this train.Our 2 and half year old daughter loves to play with it. She still isn't great at navigating the train around much, but she can drive it just fine and when it runs into something she knows to push the other button to get it going again. She also likes playing with the train and the little conductor without using the remote.Just to give some further details about the train. It only has 2 buttons on the remote, one moves the train forward the other reverses and turns it to the left I believe. So going around corners can be a bit tedious, but this is fine for toddlers if you're in just one room. The train makes sound only when the buttons on the train itself are pushed. One button on top makes a train sound for a short time. The other button is under the conductor, when you push the conductor down it plays a song a few times in a row. The song is much longer than the train sounds and can be a bit much at times. I agree with some comments that a volume adjustment would be nice. However, my daughter doesn't mess with the sounds all that often and they don't play constantly while driving it.If I had to bring up any other concerns it might be distance the remote can control the train. It is fine to about 20 feet after that you can hold the remote higher and get it to go further sometimes. Honestly my daughter doesn't really expect to drive it any further than that so it isn';t a problem. It does also slow down quite a bit on carpet, on our wood floors it moves pretty quick, still not a deal breaker though.

My son loves thie RC train!! He laughs and gets excited with this toy. It's been awesome and it's easy to put the batteries in. It takes 3 AA for the train and 2 AA for the remote. It's so fun to watch him play with it

These were a gift to my grandchildren(twins) that just turned 2 years old. They were just right for them!!

I bought this little train for my 1.5 year old grandson for Christmas. I wasn't sure what to expect for this price, but I was super impressed. The train is made of really durable plastic, not the flimsy thin plastic some toys are made of now. The remote is a simple reverse and turn and then another button that goes forward and straight. The remote is a nice big size that little hands can hold and maneuver even if they don't understand which is forward and backward, they can still control this train. His almost 3 year old brother loves it also. These boys play hard with their toys and this toy is very well made, I don't see this breaking at all.

Since the pandemic I've been ordering pretty much all year and saving the items till Christmas. Such is the case with this item. I've checked it out but not completely (with batteries) and since then we've been hit with Hurricane Ida so it will be a while before I get there.

Even though it seemed to take forever to arrive and just in time for christmas as was a present. its a great little remote control toy. the way it moves is fab and easy to control.
