Tacky and the Emperor (Tacky the Penguin)

We have a couple Tacky the Penguin books, and this one was a great addition! My grands love them!

Tacky and his adventures are loved by my kinder class. I have been reading his stories for 12+years and he is always a favorite! He really helped my class understand main character, problem and solution in their writing process.

Great book

My niece is a teacher in Arkansas. Her 1st grade class is sorely lacking in enjoyable books for afternoon reading. I purchased every 'Tacky' title available on Amazon and sent them down to her. I figured penguins in Arkansas would be a novelty for the kids, and they LOVED it!!The 1st graders love Tacky and his crazy adventures; he's always faced w a perplexing problem, but seems to make the right (sometimes tough) choice to solve it. Good lessons for children!

The book and story was great.

Tacky the Penguin is one of my favorite books from childhood. My children love this new addition to our home library! Tacky is so clueless and wonderful, yet things work out just fine. We should all be a little more like this fun-loving penguin!Good quality book, colorful pages.

Helen Lester has created a wonderful series of books featuring a lovable and lessthan perfect penguin who is a true original. This book is a fun read-aloud forthe early childhood crowd.

Great story!! My kindergarteners love Tacky and can’t wait to here more of his stories!!

All exceptional for the young ones and would be highly recommended by me and my family. Lessons to be learned and so much humour.

A very funny book, like all the "Tacky" serie. My grandsons adore them all.
