It was a great gift and fun way for my friend's kids to learn more about the Dutch culture.

I found this puzzle rather difficult to assemble. It's rated for 6+ but I don't think anyone under 12 could do it. The biggest issue is that the puzzle pieces are 2 pieces of printed paper with a thin layer of foam between them. When the pieces are bent as directed, one side of the paper falls off. I had to put the pieces together and then go back and glue the paper back on.

It was difficult even for me to put some sections together. My grandson could not at all complete this without me helping (almost 8 yrs old). The top section was hardest to fit together. Loved the tool to punch out the slots. Hard to identify pieces after they're punched out cause numbers were on the discarded part which slowed things down. But, if you cut a hole in side of tower middle part and take a piece of tower bottom off - Lego men can be put inside which was fun. the turning blades seemed cool but I couldn't turn them when the whole kit was assembled because they hit the base of the tower section. We watched a video on youtube about Dutch windmills, and that added an educational component which was more fun. I liked the coloration of it too. Overall I'm glad we bought it and did it together, but wish it was a bit better designed.

We ordered a windmill for friends who had to cancel their trip to Holland. They got the Eiffel tower instead.
