Good for a beginner. The anti-slip feature is very useful. The rubbery around the ball makes it easy for my child to catch with confidence and will soon learn how to catch a non-slip ball. This is also meant for the beach or pool because it is specifically made waterproof so easier to catch.

I liked that it has shiny grips to make catching the football easier with wet hands. The quality seems good & it’s the right size for teens. I purchased a smaller one for the 9yr old.

Picked this up for family beach vacation. Worked like a champ. Soft and floated in the gulf with no problem. Lots of family fun!

Pros: Floats, not too big so younger kids can use and not too small for adultsCons: the design is rubber so once wet it can be a bit on the slippery side when you throw or catch. There is fabric also but too much rubber in my opinion.

I took a river rafting trip, and I need something that would stand up to the abuse of 60+ teenagers, water, and the desert heat.The football inflated easily and had plenty of grip when wet. It also took a beating when we were out of the water, thrown around the desert, and hit hard desert plants that would have damaged or punctured other less-quality items.I have bought several of these types of footballs over the years for these trips, and this item was the best. I will be ordering more of these for next year's trip.
