MiLocks XKK-02AQ Digital Door Knob Lock with Keyless Entry via Remote Control and Keypad Code for Interior Doors

I brought this for my 90 year old mother who is loving not having to get up out of her recliner to open the door. It took sereval minutes to install alone, mainly because you have try to hold the pieces while attaching the clips, definitely have another person to lend a hand but the features work great for mom.

Got this on March 14, 2019 as of April 26 2019, the batteries died. I thought the unit was broken but discovered it just needed batteries . Over all It works well. Easy to install and program..

After roughly one month of use this lock began to fail. Initially it would occasionally jam, and now it no longer locks or unlocks either electonicly or manually. Additionally the latch jams which requires jiggleing the handle before the knob turns.

Liked the key fob option, allowing anyone to unlock or lock the door without have to go to the door. Very helpful for someone who may have mobility issues. Great Product.

The locks have a good appearance and they install relatively easily. They are relatively easy to program. However, the batteries in the locks die in about three weeks. We have installed 20 of these locks in three different settings (all interior) and they all use up batteries at an alarmingly fast rate.

Easy to set a code and my kids are able to use it as well. No more getting locked out in the dark, just a simple push of a button and you're in. Also the extra remotes are only about $15.

Was incredibly easy to install, loved having the remote to unlock the door, and love the auto locking feature. However after about a month it started not unlocking by the remote, and eventually it would unlock after a few tries, but then it completely stopped working and the only way was the key.

The media could not be loaded. Needs to improve security over traditional know! These are about the same as any other knob regarding durability and security

The lock is bad quality. Worked normal for a few months then continuously stucked. Do not by this if you do not want to damage the door!

Had to send this back because it is for interior doors and I misread that info, needed it for an exterior door and live in a very cold winter climate so didn't want to take a chance on it freezing up, but it did work well when tested it upon arrival and would be great for its intended use!
