This brush is a game changer for me. For days I choose not to wash my hair, use this brush after a shower and it smooths out all the curls and small hairs after a hot shower.

I've used these for over ten years, and they are the best brush I have found for my thick hair, 2b. My daughter has curly type 3b hair, and these work too when we are brush it out for braiding or tying back. The brush smooths both our hair, and does not pull to the point of hurting, which has happened with other boar brushes. The price is great (usually $10 at local store). Shipping was quick, even during the current crisis.

Not happy with this brush. First, the bristles are soft, not firm - so that’s a misrepresentation of how this was described at the time I bought this. Second, it arrived in a bag (it wasn’t even a bubble bag). It should have been shipped in a box cuz the bristles got smashed down during shipping, making them even more soft. As far as price, I could have purchased the same brush at a local store for about $2 less. My bad. Overall, if you’re looking for a firm brush, this isn’t it.

To comb my hair

I have thick hair. The bristles are sturdy enough, but the brush keeps getting caught on the ends of my hair and making them frizz.

My daughter doesn't care for this brush, she likes hers a little stiffer. For me, the coated boar's bristles were better than straight up boar's bristles.. not too soft, not too hard. Gets all the way down to the root without ripping at my scalp. I am not able to find my old brush that I loved so much, so I bought 5 different brushes until I could come up with one I could live with. Bought one of these in that red discount store for $9. So, when I saw this offer (2 for $10), I picked up two more. Very good price for these..
