Phew!Talk about an emotional cluster .... of epic proportions!A "love" triangle that in my opinion, borders on freakishly obsessive, the heart-pounding, heated story between Ryan, Alyssa, Luke captured my attention from the very start leaving me in a state of unease, and full-blown curiosity as to how in the world this feels tornado would work itself out!Many, MANY times throughout the plot twisted, heartbreaker, I wanted to shake a character or two, but for all my frustrations, I could not help but love the reality of it all!Watching all the pieces of themselves get put ( some shoved ) back into place creating new lives and loves was quite the hot and heavy read!

I am not usually a fan of love triangle books, but this book had more to it than just the love story. Alyssa is an actress who almost lost her life to an eating disorder. Her fiancé Ryan has been there for her since they were younger, but now he is controlling and manipulative. Luke is a co-worker of Ryan’s and there is an instant attraction.There were times that I was fed up with her actions and there were others that I felt bad for her. Ryan, in my opinion, is not a nice person. Luke is almost too good to be real. I can see more issues coming to Alyssa, some brought on be herself, but I want to see how this ends.I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

I have read all the books by crystal kaswell and as always this book does not disappoint. I realized I hadn’t read this one so I picked it up and couldn’t put it down. I loved the battle Alyssa faces and CK keeps your guessing throughout the book. I seriously did not know what way it was going to go until the very end. In on relationship she has the man who has always been there for her and takes care of her and in the other relationship she has a man who truly cares for her and makes her feel alive and herself. I love the way this story was written and how relatable it can be to true life. I definitely recommend this book!

I am not sure if I liked this book or not. Storyline was a bit thin in spots and characters were wishy washy. I am not sure if I will read more of this author work.

I absolutely could not put this book down!The characters were incredibly well-developed and complex. I was rooting for Luke and Alyssa from the very beginning, and I was constantly scared they wouldn't end up together.Ryan was this character that I loved to hate, but constantly worried me that Alyssa was so loyal to him.I usually hate love triangles! This one was just too compelling to put down! The romance was super amazing and the sexy times were absolutely amazing! Some authors just really know how to write a conpelling love scene.I'm so pleased I took a chance on this book! I highly recommend it!

This is part one of a new trilogy by Crystal Kaswell. In this story Alyssa is newly engaged to Ryan but realizes something has been off about their relationship for a while. When she meets Luke she starts to feel again, something she hasn't done in a long time. But Luke should be forbidden to her. And she has to figure out her own wants and needs before her world implodes.Overall I enjoyed this book. Luke was definitely my favorite of Alyssa's two options and I think it's pretty clear to see why shortly after the story begins. Alyssa's struggle was understandable with what she's been through, but Ryan was definitely not a likable guy during this story despite what he may have been in the past.I am intrigued to see what's to come for this triangle in book two.

I loved this story by Crystal Kaswell! Alyssa and Luke definitely belong together. Ryan was a jerk and didn't treat Alyssa well. I don't believe either of them were happy together and Ryan was too controlling and tried to make Alyssa feel like he is the only reason she was alive! Then Luke comes along and changes everything for Alyssa and makes her feel again! This story is full of emotion. Crystal did phenomenal with this one. It's a bit different from her other stories but if your a fan of her work you will love this one!

So, this story was difficult to get into. I’m not sure why. But once I got past the first couple of chapters, I started to get into the storyline. I didn’t care much for Alyssa because of her personality but I understand that that was how the character was written. I couldn’t stand Ryan because of his controlling and narcissistic nature. I did, however like Luke. I have to say that after reading this, I don’t think I’m much of a love triangle person. The constant confusion about whom to pick is downright exhausting. Overall, this doesn’t deter me from reading this author’s works. She writes a good storyline and believable characters.
